Cilantro Turkey Burgers


My mother-in-law shared this yummy turkey burger recipe with me!! It's from the Heal Your Gut cookbook. Even though we are not a gut healing or GAPS diet, their simple, nutrient-dense recipes are worth having in your rotation!

Cilantro Turkey Burgers

makes 8

2#s ground turkey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 bunch cilantro

1 red onion, chopped

1 TBL chili powder

1 tsp sea salt

fresh cracked pepper

Place all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix together with your hands. Form mixture into burger patties. Broil or grill (stove-top or bbq) 5-7 minutes each side.

Serve your favorite way on a bun, sweet potato slice, bunless, lettuce-wrap, etc!

Individually wrap leftovers and save in the freezer!
