Have you heard of our energetic early birds? Today's #MemberCrushMonday is on one of them: Taylor Savale!
Let's get to know her a little bit:
"I am a Phoenix native and have been married to my husband, Scot, for 10 years. We have three girls, Tatum (5), Quinn (3), and Lacey Claire (1). As a mom of three girly-girls I am an expert in all things tea party, fancy, and make-believe. We’re currently using the amazing weather to master our bike riding skills. I used to teach elementary school, but now get to stay home with my kiddos. I still get my teaching fix by tutoring and giving piano lessons- my favorite is working with beginning learners! I also teach an English class at Hope Women’s Center. I love working with those sweet women and sharing in their excitement as they become more proficient in English.
I am obsessed with reading and love listening to podcasts (I’m always open to any new suggestions!). Two things that always get my day started right are spending time reading my Bible and a good workout, so you can almost always find me at the 5:30 am class. I started at Chuckwalla just over a year ago when Coach Lauren invited me to come to a free Saturday class. I was immediately hooked! I’ve been exercising regularly since high school, but Crossfit has definitely increased my strength more than any other workout I’ve done. I also have zero self motivation when it comes to working out so the group setting of Crossfit is perfect for me. My favorite things about Crossfit are... - The amazing, encouraging, energetic people who enjoy waking up at the crack of dawn that I get to work out with. - Setting goals: it’s been so encouraging to use Wodify to track my progress this past year. It’s a great feeling when I meet one of my goals! One of my goals for the next year is to do a pull up! - And any work out that involves lots of running and no snatch type moves."
