#MemberCrushMonday: Tara Vaccaro
Tara joined a little over a month ago for our Bod Squad Challenge, and she crushed it! I have never seen someone follow the meal plan so closely! That earned her the "Spirit of the Challenge" award, as well as some great results!

Here is her story:
What do you do outside of CrossFit?
Professionally, I’m an HR Manager in the mortgage industry. I love my job and the company that I work for. When I’m not wrapped up in the Corporate life, I love spending time with friends and my two little furry loves, Sophie and Penny.

What is something about you that would surprise us?
I’m a very creative person. I love to draw and write poetry. Art is like therapy to me, and it’s something that’s always been a part of my life. Some of my favorite mediums are charcoal, pastels and graphite.

What do you enjoy?
I’m a big fan of music and enjoy going to shows with friends, preferably R&B and Hip Hop. I’m also a big foodie, I love exploring new restaurants in the area but I also enjoy cooking and having friends over for dinner. Taco nights are my jam! And when I’m not jamming out to music, or stuffing my face with amazing food, I like to be outside whether it be a hike, or a bike ride around the Arcadia area with friends.
Why do you CrossFit?
To kickstart my health journey. I discovered Chuckwalla by coming to my friend Billie’s yoga classes. Once I got familiar with the coaches and the community, I decided to try something new and become a member.
What is your favorite CrossFit lift/workout?
Still trying to find my groove, but back squats are something I’m currently enjoying. And I LOVE the QuickFit classes.
