#MemberCrushMonday: Dillon Moeller⁣

Here is his story:⁣

What do you do with your time, for work, play, etc?⁣

I love to play golf, go hiking, hang out with friends and my puppy, travel, work out and love to do anything competitive. ⁣

What is something about you that would surprise us?⁣

I have a twin brother and at the age of 7 won my very first bowling tournament. ⁣

How do you make a difference in the community?⁣

I work as a physical therapist at Spooner Physical Therapy, treating a wide variety of population, ranging from adolescents to the elderly population, from neurological deficits to professional athletes. Your body is meant to move and having a role in restoring your body to a healthier and functional self is very rewarding in order to achieve all your personal goals. ⁣

Why do you choose to workout at Chuckwalla? ⁣

My co-worker spoke highly of his work out and I wanted a place where I could push my own limits, personally and functionally. ⁣

How does Chuckwalla help you be strong for life?⁣

There will be times when you fail, but it’s about how you get back up and overcome those failures that set you up for success and accomplishments within the gym. The same can be said in our everyday lives. ⁣

What is your favorite lift/workout?⁣

My current favorite lift is the clean/hang clean as it is such a complex lift with a lot of technicality and timing, allowing me to still push myself with the strength component yet also with my technicality and mobility in order to achieve heavier weight. ⁣

What fitness accomplishment are you most proud of?⁣

Improving my hang clean from 135 to 205lbs in 4 weeks. ⁣

What keeps you motivated / disciplined?⁣

As a physical therapist, I take pride in keeping my body healthy by constantly loading it during barbell club and practicing what I preach on a daily basis.⁣

Any favorite sayings /motivational quotes?⁣

“Motion is Lotion” and “Great things never come from comfort zones.” ⁣
