#MemberCrushMonday: Jane Min
Here is her story:
"Hi! I'm Jane- married to my husband, Kevin, boy mama to two, 4th grade teacher, Trader Joe's enthusiast, lover of food, and an enneagram 6 (IYKYK). I'm originally from the Bay Area in Northern California. In the last few years, AZ has really upped their Korean food game so I think I can finally say Phoenix is home.
I first started coming out to Chuckwalla in 2017, but took a break due to a semi-high risk pregnancy and adjusting to life as a full time working mom of two. When I finally felt ready, the pandemic was in full effect. I was finally able to come back this past January.
I started coming out to Chuckwalla because I had been struggling with major postpartum anxiety/OCD after my first born. While I found many different ways to help me through this time, I knew exercise was a piece that was missing. I first came in with my mental health as my number one priority and not much has changed after all this time. I keep showing up because I believe in the importance of taking care of your mind, body, and soul.
Chuckwalla has impacted my life in such a tremendous way. It's taught me to show up. Get out your head and don't be afraid to try something new. Love and encourage your community and have fun!
I stay motivated by remembering what it felt like when I wasn't in the best place. I know that to be the best wife, mom, teacher, daughter, friend, I need to take care of myself to pour into others.
My biggest fitness accomplishment would be attending Chuckwalla! Before Chuckwalla, the only other fitness that I've ever been a part of was prenatal yoga.
Keep showing up- you won't regret it. Unless there are burpees, then there's a good chance you may regret showing up.
