What do you do with your free time? Most weekends you can find my husband and I carting around our two year old to various activities like gymnastics, swimming and play dates. When the weather is reasonable, we love being outdoors, going for hikes, barbequing and taking road trips.
What is something about you that would surprise us?
Visiting all 63 National Parks is on my bucket list, and we are slowly but surely ticking them off.
How do you make a difference in the community?
I run a program called Homeless Court where we help people dealing with homelessness to resolve their legal issues.
Why do you choose to workout at Chuckwalla?
The constructive and motivating coaching has made an enormous impact on my performance. The modifications are both challenging and safe. I love the variety in the workouts and the atmosphere is friendly & welcoming.
How does Chuckwalla help you to be strong for life? Completing a WOD early in the morning, before most people even wake up, gives me an edge on the day. Before the day has even really begun, I kick butt in the face of a challenge. There is no better way to start the day because after that I feel like I can take on anything.
What is your favorite lift/workout?
Since coming to Chuckwalla, I have found a new love for weightlifting and it is generally what I look forward to every time I walk in.
