What do you do with your time, for work, play, etc?
For work, I’ve been been bartending in the valley for many, many years.
I have an extensive knowledge of spirits and flavor pairings, and with that knowledge I create cocktails and write the cocktail menus, which change seasonally, at my restaurant.
I used to spend all of my spare time climbing, hiking, kayaking, traveling, etc. But since our son was born our dynamic has shifted a bit. We still try to do all of those things as much as possible, but more of a modified version to include our 1 year old. I also really love to bake!
What is something about you that would surprise us?
I make quilts and cross stitch. I’m in the process of starting a small business making baby quilts.
Why do you choose to workout at Chuckwalla?
I started at Chuckwalla with Lauren’s postpartum program. One of my favorite things is how family oriented Chuckwalla is. It’s not easy for busy moms to get in a workout, and they make that possible. I love Lauren’s knowledge of the postpartum body and how she helps incorporate that into each workout.
What is your favorite lift/workout?
I’m not sure if I have a favorite lift yet, but my favorite areas to work out are shoulders and back, both of which help with climbing.
