WE ARE BACK!



Starting Friday, May 15, we will return to our full schedule in the gym! We will be following government & CDC guidelines to take responsible precautions and join Arizona to "Stay healthy, return smarter and return stronger."


Re-Opening will Feature:

  • Full class schedule, although with the exception of Quick Fit, class times will be reduced to 50 mins to allow for sanitizing and distancing. This includes CrossFit, Barbell Club, Run Club and Quick Fit.

  • Return to childcare schedule. Please monitor your kids for symptoms and keep them home if they are sick.

  • *NEW* "LOCKBOX" Access for members from 10am - 9pm (outside of class times.) This will also replace "Open Gym."

  • Continue "Chuckwalla Anywhere" programming for home workouts

  • LIVE STREAM the 5:30am and 4:30pm CrossFit class via Zoom and Facebook, with recordings available on YouTube



The following are our COVID-19 Operations:


Member Responsibilities:

  1. Stay home when sick! Monitor for symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) and stay home until you have been symptom free. This also applies to any child(ren) you will be brining to the gym What to do it you are sick

  2. Physical Distancing: Stay 6 feet away from others, refrain from hugs, high-fives, & fist bumps.

  3. Frequently wash hands or use alcohol-based (at least 60% alcohol) hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available

  4. Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth

  5. Follow guidelines to clean and disinfect any equipment you use


New Members:

You can schedule your Intro Consult to get started. This consult is $69, but is free with purchase of a trial members (2 weeks for $29) or unlimited membership (starting at $149).


We are not accepting out of state drop-ins at this time.


Chuckwalla CrossFit Responsibilities:

  1. Our staff/coaches will take everyday preventative actions to prevent the spread of respiratory illness (same as our members above)

  2. Coaches/staff who have symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, or shortness of breath) should notify their supervisor and stay home.

  3. Restrict athletes from using the kiosk to sign in & record workouts. This is limited to coach use only. Athletes can use their app to check in/record scores.

  4. Equipment will be sanitized between users. Members are to assist with this, and coaches are to follow up and cover any spots that get missed. This includes the rig, bars, plates, clips, benches, rowers, bikes, dumbbells, kettlebells, mats, ropes, wall-balls, slam balls, kettlebells, etc

  5. Gym floor will be disinfected twice daily

  6. Sanitizing stations (12) will be throughout the gym to increase accessibility

  7. Coaches/staff will sanitize touch points after each class: Door knobs/handles, light switches, water machine, keyboards, remotes, toilets, faucets and sinks, coffee machine, FitAid fridge and AmpedPro kiosk

  8. AmpedPro has donated liquid chalk, or athletes can purchase their own chalk, if athletes don’t want to use communal chalk.


Childcare Protocol:

  1. We require sick children and staff to stay home. Persons who have a fever of 100.40 (38.00C) or above or other signs of illness (cough, shortness of breath) will not be admitted to the facility. Parents should be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and keep them home when they are sick.

  2. Staff will take everyday preventive actions to prevent the spread of respiratory illness.

  3. Staff & children should wash their hands or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol before entering the child care area.

  4. Staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Frequently touched surfaces include: light switches, door knobs/handles, gate entry, top of barrier, etc (see expanded cleaning protocol)

  5. All toys and surfaces must be sanitized after each class
