Here is her story:
What do you do outside of CrossFit?
I am a Real Estate Wealth Manager. I work with regular people to help them gain financial freedom and build personal wealth through real estate. I married my husband when we were a wee 20 years old, and it’s been 14 years of awesome ever since. We have 4 kiddos. They're amazing.
What is something about you that would surprise us?
I imagine that people would find it surprising that I HATE haaaate water. Not drinking it - I love drinking it. But otherwise touching it is not my fav. Swimming in pools, lakes, oceans, water gun fights, sprinklers? GTFO. I’m not a fan.
Also, I find cats creepy AF. I have a hundred-pound dog. I love archery target shooting, and I can’t get enough sugar.
What do you enjoy?
My favorite thing to do is load up the family in our RV and travel around the country. Camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, sight-seeing. That’s my jam.
Why do you CrossFit?
I do CrossFit because it feels good (and because Chuckwalla has childcare). I’m competitive to a fault, and CrossFit allows me to compete hard against myself. I love the feeling of knowing that I beat my previous PR or I hit the Metcon number I was driving for. …also it helps me justify all my sugar intake….
What is your favorite CrossFit lift/workout?
I have a lot to learn in CrossFit. I guess my favorite move at the moment is double-unders. I don’t enjoy them and I can’t even do them, but I know I’m going to get it by the end of the month because of the October Challenge, and that makes me love ‘em.
